Agency share links

An agency organisation groups its repositories by client and can give each client a read-only link to the decisions made for them.

Turning agency mode on

Agency mode is available once we enable it for your organisation: write to support@bharatreachdsp.com with your organisation's address. An owner then ticks An agency (projects as clients, share links) under Organisation kind in Settings and saves. Unticking it later revokes every share link.

Clients

Clients in the console (owners and admins) lists your clients. Add one with its name and the name shown on its share links; rename or archive it (archiving revokes its share links). Move a repository here assigns a repository to a client; each repository belongs to one client, and a repository that already has decisions stays in its client. In agency mode the Inbox, Conflicts, Checks, Questions and Sessions lists can be filtered by client.

Each client can have its own weekly digest for chosen members, about that client's repositories only. It is never sent to the client.

Owners and admins create a link for one client:

  • Label, and Works for 7, 30, 90 (the default) or 365 days. Every link expires.
  • Repositories: none ticked means all of the client's, including ones added later.
  • What it shows: Show why and alternatives (on by default), Show who confirmed (off), Show verification (on), Link public commits (off), Show open conflicts (a number only) (off).

The link is shown once: copy it then. Only a hash of it is stored, so it cannot be shown again; if it is lost, revoke it and make a new one. The links table shows each link's scope, expiry, when it was last viewed and its state, with Revoke and Choose entries. Decisions from Slack or Linear, and decisions whose receipts are restricted, are left out unless you include them one by one.

What the client sees

A page Decisions for the client: the confirmed decisions and commitments of the shared repositories, with the details you chose, a Download Markdown button and Print or save as PDF. It never shows conversations, proposals or anyone's activity. The page is never indexed by search engines or cached, and a revoked or expired link shows "Page not found".
